It's a fun film to watch. A Dutch DVD company just recently re-released it. Julian Mateos was a great (method) actor who gave a remarkable performance in "10:30 P.M. Summer" (one of my favourite films; I even produced a remake in 2006). He died quite young, though, of cancer in 1996. He studied philosophy in Spain. His best-known films were "Shalako" with Sean Connery, Brigitte Bardot and Stephen Boyd, "Return of the Seven" with Yul Brynner, "Catlow" with Daliah Lavi, and "Four Rode Out" with Pernell Roberts. He and Marisa Mell did have a short relationship, but not in 1963 (as she wrote in her book). They didn't meet until 1967 -- and by that time, she was Torri's girlfriend.
I love pretty much anything Castellari has done.
